Amorphous Graphite

Amorphous Graphite is a mineral as well as Flake Graphite.  Compared to Flake Graphite, it is a lump of earth in appearance.  Although it is lump of earth in appearance and a low crystallinity.  It has been used for a long time as paints and rubber additions because of its low cost and hydrophilic with liquids.  

The vast majority of microcrystalline graphite is graphite carbon, with a hard gray color, metallic luster, soft texture, MoSe hardness of 1-2, the specific gravity of 2-2.24, stable chemical properties, not affected by strong acids and bases, low harmful impurities, low iron, sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen, molybdenum, hydrogen content, and high-temperature resistance, heat transfer, conductivity, lubrication, and plasticity.

It is widely used in casting, coating, batteries, carbon products, pencils, pigments, fire-resistant materials, smelting, and carburizing agents, Casting protective slag, etc.

Specification: It is divided into two categories:

"WT" - with iron requirements (commonly known as "electric carbon") 

"W" - without iron requirements (commonly known as "casting"). 

The main products include graphite balls, graphite powder, graphite particles, graphite sand, and carburizing agents.

According to the fixed carbon content, it is divided into 8 levels: 50, 65, 70, 75, 78, 80, 83, 85, and 88. The fineness of graphite powder is divided into 45, 75, and 150 μ m (equivalent to 325 mesh, 200 mesh, and 100 mesh, respectively).
