Graphite electrode is made of high-quality low ash materials, such as petroleum coke, needle coke and coal pitch. after calcining, burdening, kneading, forming, baking and pressure impregnation, graphitizationand then precision machined with professional CNC machining. such of the products own characteristics withlow resistivity, good electrical conductivity, low ash, compact structure, good anti oxidation and high mechanical strength, so it is the best conductive material for electric arc furnace and smelting furnace. 

According to its quality indicators, graphite electrodes can be divided into RP graphite electrodes, HP graphite electrodes and UHP graphite electrodes.

Xingshi Carbon Products Co.,Ltd - provides graphite electrodes of different specifications with diameters from 50-900mm (2 '- 36'), including Regular power graphite electrode (RP), impregnated graphite electrode, high power graphite electrode (HP) and ultra-high power graphite electrode (UHP).

We have a complete set of graphite electrode production line. The graphite electrode of our products has the advantages of compact structure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, low resistivity and large current load resistance. It is widely used in heavy industrial electric arc furnace, steel plant, foundry and other related industries.
 

Our graphite electrodes are available in different grades: UHP, SHP ,HP and RP . But ,now due to the low cost performance RP (regular power) electrodes less used in world market . We accept Customized if your budget is lower for some small secondary steel scrap factory .

UHP (Ultra high power) Graphite electrodes are used for energy-efficient transmission of high current loads into the furnace charge, giving a lower electrode consumption rate and faster metal meltdown rates.
SHP (Super high power) Graphite electrodes are recommended for use in the less demanding high power electric arc furnace and superior high power ladle furnace applications, where the application is not severe and the lower percentage of needle coke is allowable.

HP (High power)Graphite electrodes are generally used in high power ladle furnace, foundry and fused mineral applications These are usually electrodes below 350mm diameter, though in single phase applications the electrodes can be up to 500mm diameter.

RP (Regular Powder) electrodes are produced by ordinary petroleum coke , with low graphitization temperature , high electric resistance , large linear expansion coefficient  and poor thermal shock resistance . So the allowable current  density is lower ,.
