Artificial graphite powder is a synthetic carbon material produced by high-temperature graphitization (2500-3000°C) of carbon precursors (e.g., petroleum coke, pitch coke, carbon black). It features high purity, controlled crystal structure, and tunable physical properties in powder form.
Now Xingshi Carbon provides Synthetic graphite/Graphite carbon agent is a metallurgical additive made from graphite electrode waste and best-quality petroleum coke as raw materials, which is subjected to high-temperature graphitization treatment at 2500-3000 ºC. Its crystal structure is arranged in a hexagonal layered form. The product complies with YB/T 192-2001 standard, with a carbon content of ≥ 96% -99.5%, a sulfur content of ≤ 0.05%, an ash content of<1%, and a particle size of 0.5-2.5mm, 2.5-5mm, and other specifications to meet the needs of different furnaces. The production process includes raw material pretreatment, graphitization furnace treatment (Acheson furnace at 3000 ºC for 40-60 hours), and post-treatment steps, with a graphitization degree of ≥ 90%.
