Graphite block has the characteristics of high bulk density, low resistivity, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good conductivity.

1. The graphite with the content of high-purity graphite more than 99.9% is called high-purity graphite. It has the advantages of excellent conductivity, heat conduction, pressure and corrosion resistance, small expansion coefficient, good self-lubricating and processing performance.

2. Good chemical resistance; can be used in all kinds of chemical reaction crucibles, test tubes, etc.

3. High thermal conductivity and thermal stability; various high temperature resistant products such as molten gold and silver

4. Sufficient mechanical strength and impact resistance;

5. It is easy to machine, and can be processed into various geometric products as required.

6. Graphite has the following special properties due to its special structure:

1) High temperature resistant type: the melting point of graphite is 3850 ± 50 ºC, and the boiling point is 4250 ºC. Even if it is burned by ultra-high temperature arc, the weight loss is very small, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is very small. The strength of graphite increases with the increase of temperature. At 2000 ºC, the strength of graphite doubles.

2) Conductivity and thermal conductivity: the conductivity of graphite is 100 times higher than that of non-metallic ores. The thermal conductivity is higher than that of steel, iron, lead and other metal materials. The thermal conductivity decreases with the increase of temperature, and even at extremely high temperature, graphite becomes an insulator.

3) Lubricity: the smaller the friction coefficient, the better the lubricity.

4) Chemical stability: graphite has good chemical stability at room temperature, can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali and organic solvent.

5) Thermal shock resistance: graphite can withstand the drastic change of temperature without damage when it is used at normal temperature. When the temperature changes abruptly, the volume of graphite changes little and cracks will not occur.

Graphite block / rod is used for lining and conducting materials of silicon carbide furnace, graphitization furnace and other metallurgical furnace, resistance furnace, and impermeable graphite heat exchanger. Widely used in electronics, metallurgy, chemical industry, steel and other fields, the products have excellent quality and stable performance.

Graphite with more than 99.9% graphite content is called high-purity graphite. It is an ideal crucible boat dish for inorganic nonmetal, heater for single crystal furnace, graphite for EDM, sintering mold, anode for electronic tube and metal coating,

Graphite crucible for semiconductor technology, emission electron tube, thyratron and graphite anode and grid for mercury arc rectifier.

Graphite electrode carbon rod is used for welding silver spot welding machine, carbon rod machine, butt welding machine, butt welding machine, silver spot and copper parts of electrical appliances and other hardware parts. It is the best and ideal tool material.

1. As refractories, graphite and its products have the properties of high temperature resistance and high strength. They are mainly used to make graphite crucibles in metallurgical industry. In steel making, graphite is often used as the protector of ingots and the lining of metallurgical furnace.

They do not need to be added with lubricating oil when they are running. Graphite emulsion is also a good lubricant for many metal processing (wire drawing, tube drawing).

4. Graphite has good chemical stability. After special processing, graphite has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, good thermal conductivity and low permeability, so it is widely used to make heat exchanger, reaction tank, condenser, combustion tower, absorption tower, cooler, heater, filter and pump equipment. Widely used in petrochemical, hydrometallurgy, acid and alkali production, synthetic fiber, paper and other industrial sectors, can save a lot of metal materials.

5. For casting, sanding, die-casting and high-temperature metallurgy materials: due to the small thermal expansion coefficient of graphite and its ability to withstand the changes of rapid cooling and heat, it can be used as a mold for glassware. After using graphite, ferrous metal can obtain accurate casting size, high surface finish yield, and can be used without processing or a little processing, thus saving a lot of metals. In the production of cemented carbide and other powder metallurgy processes, graphite materials are usually used to make ceramic boats for pressing and sintering. The crystal growth crucible of monocrystalline silicon, regional refining vessel, bracket fixture, induction heater, etc. are all made of high-purity graphite.
