Cold ramming paste - Xingshi Carbon
A cathode paste that can be used for masonry construction at room temperature. The aggregate of this cathode paste is the same as that of ordinary cathode paste (also known as hot ramming paste), such as calcined anthracite or electrically calcined anthracite, metallurgical coke, graphite chips, etc. The low softening point of the adhesive is 20 ºC± 5 ºC.
Cold ramming paste has a low softening point and high volatile matter. It should be packaged in double layers of woven bags and plastic bags, with a shelf life of 6-9 months. The construction temperature for cold tamping paste is 25-50 ºC, and construction can be carried out at ambient temperature in summer. In spring and autumn, the impact of low ambient temperature can be compensated for by simmering paste. Stew at 40-50 ºC. Building furnaces in winter in the north can affect the quality of masonry and the lifespan of the trough.
