Graphite emulsion is a type of micro powder graphite(Natural flake graphite Micronized powder), which is called graphite emulsion due to its milky state. Strictly speaking, this type of product is collectively referred to as graphite colloid.

Graphite emulsion is divided into Forged Graphite emulsion, Lubricating graphite emulsion, cathode ray tube graphite emulsion (not produced), Conductive graphite emulsion, etc. according to its use.  

Graphite emulsion is an important chemical raw material widely used in forging, mold manufacturing, and other fields.

Applications

Users can decide whether to dilute the original solution and the dilution ratio based on different requirements or experience. The following ratios are for reference
 
(1) The shape of forgings is complex and difficult to demold, with large forgings diluted 3-5 times with water, and medium and small forgings diluted 5-10 times with water.
 
(2) General forgings and gear precision forging are diluted 5-15 times with water
 
(3) Roll forging process can dilute 20-30 times
 
(4) For special process requirements, dilution is not necessary and can be used directly.
 
Attentions:
The lotion shall be stirred evenly before use. After being left for a long time, there may be a small amount of solid sediment in this product, but it can be restored to its original suspended and uniform state after stirring, without reducing the effectiveness of use.
 
In addition, to obtain a good coating, it is best not to use manual application, which not only affects the demolding effect due to uneven coating, but also wastes a lot of graphite emulsion.

To ensure the coating effect, it is recommended to use an automatic or manual spray gun for spraying. When using, dilute graphite emulsion with tap water to a certain multiple, fill it into the spray gun storage tank, and spray the mold with 0.3-0.6Mpa Yaso air in a mist. When the spray gun is left unused for a period of time, the residual graphite in the spray gun, pipeline and nozzle should be washed clean, and the pipeline should be blocked by graphite precipitation on one side. When reusing, check whether it is smooth, and shake the lotion evenly to prevent precipitation. The flow rate of the spray gun can be determined according to the requirements of the forging process, generally ranging from 40-60 milliliters per second.
