Products introduction and index :

Bauxite clinker, abbreviated as high alumina, is a variety of high alumina bricks made of clinker. It is a refractory or anticorrosive material widely used in the metallurgical industry and other industries, especially on the top of electric furnaces, blast furnaces and hot stoves. The refractory effect is very significant, and the performance is better than ordinary clay refractory bricks.

The main minerals of bauxite clinker are diaspore and high alumina silica, and the content of diaspore will increase as the ratio of aluminum oxide to silica increases. The secondary minerals are rutile and iron ore. Sometimes it also contains small amounts of Baumeite and Decalite. According to the level of high-alumina bauxite containing tertiary aluminum, it can be generally divided into 3 grades and 5 grades, and their contents and colors are as follows:

First-class special grade 85% or more gray or dark gray
First class 75-85% soil gray or dark gray
Second-class second grade 65-75% white gray
Third grade third grade 50-65% blue gray
Grade 4 below 50% turquoise


Calcined Bauxite is produced by sintering high-alumina bauxite in rotary, round or shaft kilns at high temperatures. This process of calcining (heating) bauxite in kilns removes moisture and gives Calcined Bauxite its high alumina content and refractoriness, low iron, and grain hardness and toughness. Its thermal stability, high mechanical strength and resistance to molten slags make Calcined Bauxite an ideal raw material in the production of many refractory, abrasive and specialty product applications.

Product Usage

1.Aluminum smelting industry

2.Precision casting. Bauxite clinker is processed into fine powder to make precision casting, instruments and machinery after casting.

3.For refractory products. The high bauxite clinker has a fire resistance of up to 1780 ° C and strong chemical stability.

4.Aluminosilicate refractory fiber. It has the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity and resistance to mechanical vibration. Used in various industries such as iron and steel, nonferrous metallurgy, electronics, petroleum, chemical industry and Yu. It puts high-aluminum clinker into a high-temperature electric arc furnace with a melting temperature of about 2000 ~ 2200 ºC. After high-temperature melting, high-pressure high-speed air or steam blowing and cooling, it becomes a white "cotton"-aluminum silicate Refractory fiber. It can be pressed into fiber blankets, boards or woven into cloth instead of refractory bricks lined with high-temperature furnaces in smelting, chemical and glass industries. Firefighters can use refractory fiber cloth to make clothes.

5.Using magnesia and bauxite clinker as raw materials, adding appropriate binding agent, it is used for pouring the overall barrel lining of the steel drum.

6.Manufacture of alumina cement, abrasive materials, ceramic industry and various compounds that can be made of aluminum.
